This group first, formed in Oberlin, OH, plays original compositions and arrangements of modern jazz. These tunes explore thematic development and compositional unity in traditional jazz. The group's first recording, Pinpoint is available on my Hot Cup record label.

Kimmy Gibbler is a performance art ensemble bent on world domination. Nothing is sacred, and all musical traditions become fodder for our evil purposes. This group attempts to push the limits of musical absurdism, point out the ironies present in musical traditions, and offend as many music lovers as possible.
Peter Evans/Moppa Elliott/Chris Trazinsky Trio
This trio first performed in Ohio, and bases all of its performances on the cannon of Jazz Standards. Our music treats these frequently played tunes as vehicles for improvisation in which any aspect of the original composition can become the primary focus of the performance. Perhaps we are best described as 'deconstructing' these pieces, but perhaps not.
